Professional Background Naomi Chavez has spent over 20 years working in the high tech industry. She is currently Sr. Manager of Executive Communications, Events and Sales Force Development for the Services Sales organization. During her tenure at Cisco, she has been driving leadership development initiatives, both in the corporate leadership groups, and the global Sales organizations. She has implemented leadership programs and initiatives, and has taught and partnered effectively with executives around the world. Prior to joining Cisco, Naomi worked with Intel Corporation for 11 years, where she was responsible for corporate training programs, including supervisory, leadership and executive development. Naomi is an active community volunteer where she is a member of the Junior League of Palo Alto-Mid Peninsula. She just completed her term as President of this 1100+-women organization which serves women who are interested in developing their leadership potential, broadening their community knowledge and skills, and effecting positive change in the community. She is also an Emeritus Member of the Associates Board for Stanford University’s Institute for the Research on Women and Gender. Naomi is a University of Pacific graduate. |
